Usage Note
Celta functions as both adjective (cultura celta) and noun (los celtas), and is invariable for gender as an adjective: un pueblo celta, una tribu celta. In Spain it often refers specifically to the pre-Roman Celtic peoples of the Iberian Peninsula. Note that Celta with a capital letter is also the name of a Spanish football club (RC Celta de Vigo).
