Usage Note
Cabecero is the upright panel at the head of a bed, equivalent to 'headboard' in English. It should not be confused with cabecera (f), which can mean 'head of the table,' 'masthead' of a newspaper, or a medical patient's bedside. The distinction in gender and ending matters: el cabecero is the physical bed panel, while la cabecera covers the other senses.
Examples
"El cabecero de madera era muy antiguo."
