searcher
Usage Note
Buscador originally meant any person who searches (un buscador de oro = a gold prospector), but in modern usage it almost always refers to an internet search engine. Unlike the English word, it has a built-in agent suffix -dor. The feminine buscadora exists for a female searcher; the digital sense is always masculine.
