Antemano only appears in the fixed phrase de antemano, meaning 'in advance' or 'beforehand.' It is never used on its own — you will never see just antemano without de. The phrase is slightly formal; in casual speech con anticipación or antes serve the same purpose. Le agradezco de antemano (I thank you in advance) is a polite formula common in formal letters and emails.
