Usage Note
Zumo is the standard Spain Spanish word for fruit juice; in Latin America jugo is overwhelmingly preferred, making zumo a reliable regional marker. In Spain it appears on menus and in recipes: zumo de naranja, zumo natural. The word also has a figurative sense ('essence, sap') in literary Spanish, though this is rare in everyday use.
Examples
"Toma un zumo de naranja cada mañana."
Natural Translation
She has an orange juice every morning.
