Usage Note

Yoga is masculine in Spanish (el yoga), even though it ends in -a — a pattern learners often get wrong. You practise it with hacer yoga or practicar yoga. The instructor is el/la instructor(a) de yoga or informally el/la yogui (from Sanskrit yogī).
