Usage Note

Valor has two distinct meanings: an objective worth or value (el valor del euro) and the moral quality of courage (armarse de valor = 'to muster courage'). Do not confuse with valer (the verb 'to be worth') or validez (validity). The plural valores can mean 'values' in the moral/ethical sense.
