Usage Note
Vómito is the noun (the substance or act); the corresponding verb is vomitar. Note the written accent on the first syllable, which marks it as esdrújula (stress on the antepenultimate syllable) — without the accent the word would look like it stresses the second syllable by default rules.
Examples
"El olor le provocó náuseas y vómito."
Natural Translation
The smell caused him nausea and vomiting.
