Universalidad denotes the quality of being universal—applying to or encompassing all cases, peoples, or places. It appears in legal texts (principio de universalidad – principle of universality), philosophy, and discussions of rights. The related adjective is universal and the verb is universalizar. Not to be confused with universidad (university).
