Also means
to plot
Usage Note
Trazar means to draw a line, trace a route, or map out a plan: trazar una ruta, trazar un plan. It is a spelling-change verb: the z becomes c before e (tracé, tracemos). Distinguish it from dibujar (to draw a picture) — trazar implies a deliberate, often linear act of marking.
Examples
"Trazaron la ruta en el mapa antes de salir."
Natural Translation
They drew the route on the map before leaving.
