Tradicionalmente is formed from tradicional + -mente, the standard Spanish adverb suffix. Like all -mente adverbs, it is one word and carries the base adjective's stress pattern (-NAHL-). It signals that something has long been done by custom: tradicionalmente, los españoles cenan tarde = traditionally, Spaniards eat dinner late.
