Terminología is a direct cognate of English 'terminology' and causes few problems for learners beyond its length. It refers to the set of technical terms belonging to a particular discipline or subject. The related noun término (term, word, deadline, end) is extremely frequent, and terminológico is the adjective. Like most abstract nouns ending in -ía, it is feminine and takes a regular plural terminologías.
