Sucesivo means following one after another in sequence. The set phrase en lo sucesivo is a formal way to say 'from now on' or 'henceforth', common in legal and official texts: en lo sucesivo, el contrato será renovable. It differs from siguiente (next, the immediately following one) by implying a continuing series.
