Usage Note

Subjetivo contrasts directly with objetivo and is used in philosophy, criticism, and everyday discussion of personal opinion. Like most -ivo adjectives it agrees in gender (subjetiva) and number. A learner false friend: 'subject' as a school topic is asignatura, not subjetivo.
