Usage Note
Silenciosamente is the adverb formed from silencioso (silent). It is somewhat formal and literary; in everyday speech, Spaniards often prefer en silencio ('in silence') instead. Like all Spanish adverbs ending in -mente, it carries two stress points.

Natural Translation
The cat moved silently.
