Also means
for centuries
Usage Note
Secularmente has two overlapping senses: it can mean 'in a secular (non-religious) manner', but in practice it more often means 'over centuries' or 'from time immemorial' — as in una tradición secularmente arraigada (a centuries-old tradition). Learners should not assume the purely anti-religious sense; the temporal sense ('across generations') is frequently intended.
Examples
"El pueblo secularmente ha resistido los cambios."
Natural Translation
The town has resisted change for centuries.
