Retoque (from retocar, to touch up) refers to a small adjustment or finishing detail applied to something that is nearly complete — a cosmetic touch-up, a photo edit, or a minor tweak to a text. The plural retoques is common: dar los últimos retoques ('to put the finishing touches'). In photography and design it is a near-synonym of edición for minor corrections.
