Resolver is an irregular verb (like volver): the stem changes o→ue in the present tense (resuelvo, resuelves…) and its past participle is irregular: resuelto. It pairs naturally with problema — resolver un problema is the standard phrase. The reflexive resolverse means 'to be resolved' or 'to sort itself out.'
