Also means
parched
Usage Note
Reseco intensifies seco ('dry') by adding the prefix re-, signalling an extreme or excessive degree. It is commonly used for chapped skin, parched land, or dried-out food. Unlike seco, which is neutral, reseco always implies an undesirable excess of dryness: la piel reseca (chapped skin), el pan reseco (stale, dried-out bread).
Examples
"Los labios se le quedaron resecos con el frío."
Natural Translation
His lips became bone-dry in the cold.
