Usage Note

Recorrer means to traverse a distance or explore a place from end to end: recorrimos toda España (we traveled all through Spain). It also describes scanning text or an area with one's eyes: recorrió la sala con la mirada. Do not confuse with recurrir (to resort to / to appeal).
