Usage Note
Racismo is a direct equivalent of English 'racism' and needs no special gloss. The adjective/noun is racista (racist), which is invariable in gender (el racista, la racista). In Spain and Latin America public discourse around racismo has grown significantly since the 2010s; the term is not softened or euphemistic.
