Puntería literally means the ability to aim accurately, as in tener buena puntería ('to be a good shot'). It derives from punta (point/tip). The phrase can apply to throwing darts, archery, or football shooting. In colloquial use it can praise someone who 'hits the nail on the head' in an argument.
