Usage Note
Psicológico retains the written ps- cluster (from Greek psyche) though the p is typically silent in speech, giving the pronunciation sicológico in most of Latin America. Both spellings (psicológico and sicológico) are accepted by the RAE, with the ps- form being standard in print.
