Usage Note

Perspectiva commonly means a viewpoint or way of seeing things, but it also carries the visual-art sense of depth and spatial representation. The plural perspectivas is used to talk about future prospects ('tiene buenas perspectivas laborales'). Do not confuse with vista, which refers more to a physical view.
