Parlamentario can also function as a noun meaning 'parliamentarian' or 'member of parliament' — los parlamentarios votaron (the parliamentarians voted). In Latin American countries that use congreso instead of parlamento, the adjective parlamentario still describes the legislative process or its members. The feminine form is parlamentaria.
