Usage Note
Militarmente modifies verbs or adjectives to indicate that something is done by military means or in a military manner. It appears in political and journalistic contexts: intervenir militarmente means to intervene militarily. Like most Spanish adverbs ending in -mente, it is formed from the adjective militar plus the suffix.
