Lazo can be a decorative bow or ribbon, a lasso used on a ranch (lanzar el lazo), or a figurative bond or tie (lazos familiares 'family bonds'). The plural lazos is regular. Do not confuse with laso (without the z), a less common adjective meaning 'weary'.
