Largamente means 'at length' in terms of duration or detail — hablar largamente ('to speak at length'). It should not be confused with the spatial sense; to say something is 'broadly' or 'widely' Spanish more commonly uses ampliamente. The adverb largo itself is rarely used alone as an adverb of time in this sense, making largamente the expected form. A related fixed expression is a lo largo de ('throughout', 'over the course of').
