Usage Note

Integrar means both to incorporate something into a whole (integrar nuevas ideas) and reflexively, to fit in socially (integrarse en la comunidad). In mathematics, integrar means to integrate a function. The noun integración (integration) is common in political and sociological discourse, especially around migration and European integration.
