Usage Note
Inhumano describes actions, conditions, or treatment so cruel or harsh they seem beyond human decency. The h in humano is silent, so the prefix in- runs directly into the vowel: inhumano sounds like een-oo-MAH-noh. The adverb is inhumanamente and the noun inhumanidad.
Examples
"Las condiciones de trabajo eran completamente inhumanas."
