Also means
person
Usage Note
Individuo as a noun usually refers to a person, sometimes with a slightly detached or clinical tone — it can sound dismissive ('that individual'). Used neutrally in sociology and law. The adjective form individual (invariable) is a false friend in that English 'individual' maps to both the noun individuo and the adjective individual.
Examples
"Cada individuo tiene sus propias necesidades."
Natural Translation
Each individual has their own needs.
