Usage Note
Incoherencia denotes a lack of logical consistency, either in speech or in actions. It is often used in political commentary to attack contradictory positions: la incoherencia del gobierno (the government's inconsistency). The adjective is incoherente and the antonym is coherencia. Do not confuse with incongruencia, which emphasises a mismatch rather than internal contradiction.
