Gigantesco is an intensifying adjective meaning 'of gigantic proportions' — stronger than grande (big) and enorme (enormous), closer to English 'colossal'. The feminine form is gigantesca. In informal speech gigante used attributively (un gigante problema) is less standard; gigantesco is the proper derived adjective.
