Usage Note
Furiosamente intensifies an action with a sense of rage or extreme force. Like most Spanish adverbs ending in -mente, it is formed from the feminine adjective furiosa + -mente. In written Spanish, when two -mente adverbs appear together, only the last one takes -mente: rápida y furiosamente.
Examples
"El perro ladró furiosamente al cartero."
Natural Translation
The dog barked furiously at the mail carrier.
