Usage Note
Fraternidad carries both the abstract sense of brotherhood and the institutional sense of a fraternal organisation. It is one of the three values of the French Revolution adopted into Spanish political discourse: libertad, igualdad, fraternidad. The adjective form is fraternal or fraterno.
