Follón is a colloquial Spanish term (especially Peninsular) for a chaotic mess, a noisy uproar, or a complicated tangle of problems. It can refer to a physical disorder (qué follón de cables) or a social/emotional one (se armó un follón). In Latin America the word is less common, where lío or quilombo often take its place. Register is informal.
