Flexionar means to bend a joint or to perform a flexion exercise — flexionar las rodillas (to bend the knees). In gym and physiotherapy contexts it is the standard verb; doblar is a more everyday synonym. The noun flexión (pl. flexiones) also means a press-up/push-up, a usage that often surprises English speakers.
