Flecha refers to an arrow (weapon or symbol). In everyday modern use it most commonly appears as a directional arrow — on road signs (flecha de dirección), maps, and interfaces. The verb flecharse (informal) means to fall instantly in love, derived from Cupid's arrow. A flecha or como una flecha ('like an arrow') describes something very fast.
