Feroz is invariable for gender — un perro feroz, una bestia feroz — and its plural is feroces (the z becomes c before -es). It describes both literal ferocity (a wild animal) and figurative intensity: una feroz crítica ('a scathing critique'), una competencia feroz ('fierce competition'). The adverb is ferozmente.
