Usage Note
Feria can mean a trade fair (feria de muestras), a funfair/fairground (feria de atracciones), or a traditional local festival (la Feria de Abril in Seville). In Mexico and Central America feria also informally means small change (coins). The adjective ferial (as in recinto ferial = fairground) derives from the same root.
