Favorecer is an irregular -cer verb: first-person singular present is favorezco. Beyond meaning to favour or to benefit someone, it is commonly used to mean that clothing or a hairstyle suits someone: ese color te favorece (that colour suits you). This 'becoming' sense has no single English equivalent and is useful to know.
