Usage Note
Exiliar is a regular -ar verb used reflexively (exiliarse) to mean 'to go into exile': se exilió en México ('he went into exile in Mexico'). The related noun is exilio (masculine). An alternative spelling exilar exists but exiliar is more standard in Spain and most of Latin America.
