Usage Note
Estalinista describes policies, regimes, or people associated with Joseph Stalin's form of totalitarian communism. In Spanish it is both an adjective (régimen estalinista) and a noun (un estalinista) and is invariable for gender: la dirigente estalinista. The spelling uses E- as Spanish does not use initial 'St-' clusters.
