Usage Note
Escandinavo refers to anything from Scandinavia (Norway, Sweden, Denmark) and can also be used as a noun (un escandinavo — a Scandinavian person). Spanish speakers sometimes extend it loosely to all Nordic countries, though strictly nórdico covers Finland and Iceland too. The feminine form is escandinava.
