Also means

broadcasting station

Usage Note

Emisora is the standard Spanish word for a radio station (the entity that broadcasts), derived from emitir ('to broadcast'). It should not be confused with estación de radio, which is more common in some Latin American countries. The masculine form emisor means a transmitter (the device) rather than the station.

"La emisora local transmite noticias cada hora."

The local radio station broadcasts news every hour.
