Emisor covers any entity that sends out a signal, broadcast, or financial instrument: a radio emisor, but also an emisor of bonds or currency. The feminine emisora (same meaning) is the more common form for a radio station specifically. The adjective use (banco emisor = 'issuing bank') is frequent in economic writing.
