Usage Note
Educativo describes something that teaches or belongs to the educational sphere: un programa educativo, el sistema educativo. It differs from educado (well-mannered, polite), a common mix-up for English speakers because 'educated' in English can mean both. Educado is about manners; educativo is about the purpose of informing.
