Acrobacia is used in both the singular (a single acrobatic feat) and the plural acrobacias (acrobatics as a discipline or a set of manoeuvres). It extends readily to figurative use: acrobacias verbales (verbal gymnastics) or acrobacias financieras (financial manoeuvring). The performer is an acróbata (common-gender: el/la acróbata).
