céntrico

central

adjective SEN-tree-koh Rare

Also means

centrally located

Usage Note

Céntrico specifically means 'situated in the centre (of a city)': un piso céntrico ('a centrally located flat'). It is not simply a synonym of central (which can mean central in a structural or figurative sense). Estate agents use céntrico heavily; if a location is merely important rather than geographically central, central is the right word.

Examples

"Buscamos un hotel céntrico y bien comunicado."

Natural Translation

We are looking for a central, well-connected hotel.
