Curioso has two distinct uses: it can describe a person who is inquisitive ('es muy curioso'), or a thing that is odd or unusual ('qué cosa tan curiosa'). The noun curiosidad (curiosity) is common. Avoid confusing curioso with raro (weird), though they can overlap in informal speech.
